Grondines
Grondines is a farm cheese with a smooth amber rind. Its firm yet creamy butter-yellow interior is dotted with small holes. It features distinctive fruity, floral and lactic aromas, and sustained flavours of fruit, vegetable and hazelnut with a slight rustic note. A certified organic cheese, Grondines is made on the farm with milk from a single herd that is fed hay and grain grown at the farm.

La Fromagerie des Grondines
Opened in 2007, Fromagerie des Grondines produces farmhouse cheeses made from raw organic cow, goat and sheep milk. The cow milk is produced by the thirty-odd Brown Swiss cows of the AACAT farm, while the goat and sheep milk come from a nearby farm where the farmer takes care of some sixty goats and as many sheep.
With farmhouse production, this dairy’s cheeses benefit from superior aromatic qualities and subtle flavours specific to the Portneuf region.
